Requesting a Quote

Request a quote for parts and keep it valid for 30 days.


2. Select the Shopping Cart Icon
This video assumes you've got items in your cart. If you haven't added the items to your cart yet. Go ahead and do that on https://www.ChartParts.com. That's always the first step to starting a quote. Once items are added to your cart,  next select the shopping cart icon.

3. Click the Three Dots
Click the three dots on the left side of the screen. And then select request quote.

4. Next, click "Request Quote"
Initiate the quote request process.

5. Check the box to make changes
You can remove items in your cart that you don't want to include in the quote by selecting the check boxes accordingly.

6. Click "Process Quote"
When you're cart is populated with the items you'd like to quote, click process quote you'll be prompted to review the items enter a PO number of needed and submit your request.

7. Enter "PO# if you have it, or "None" if n/a (or it's pending)
You can enter a PO number here if you have it. But if you don't have it, you will always have the chance to enter it later during checkout when you convert the quote to an order.

8. Click "Place Quote"
To finalize, click "Place quote to place the quote. And don't worry, requesting a quote doesn't obligate you to place an order. It's just for pricing quotes will be emailed to you immediately.

9. Click "Print"
You can select here to print the quote to save for your records. 

10. Quoted items remain in the cart
After placing a quote, the items you selected for the quote will remain in the cart. When you're ready to order, you can do it from the cart when logged in, or if you sent the quote to a colleague, they can click the add to cart link and immediately fill in the cart from their email and place the order as long as they are logged in to https://www.ChartParts.com.
